Cottonwood Villa provides assisted living services for a great life. We are located in Ainsworth – a thriving, rural community in north central Nebraska. Cottonwood Villa, a bustling community within a friendly town, offers a full range of health services and social activities all year round.
Our Mission
As a licensed assisted living community, our mission is to provide excellent service and personal attention to each individual. Our circle of care includes service to those who are with us for a short stay of recuperation and to those who are residents in our community. Our trained, licensed and caring staff is a collaborative team which strives to ensure that each client of Cottonwood Villa maintains optimal independence through personalized assistance and care, enveloped within an assurance of comfort, dignity and security.
Our Facilities
Our community offers 29 apartments with various floor plans, a beautifully decorated great room, dining room, spa, beauty shop, patio and activities areas — all with the ambiance of homelike atmosphere.

I was absolutely astounded by the extraordinary welcome back that I received! What great healing attributes this has for me in itself!
Enveloped around this wonderful welcome home is my Profound Appreciation for All the staff at Cottonwood Villa for making my absence virtually unnoticeable in the day-to-day course of Life here. Each and All of them are Amazing and go above and beyond so often without being asked. I am truly Blessed.
While each staff member is so precious to our little community, I simply must recognize Renee (Denny) Stogner - my Assistant Administrator. She and I spent a mere 3 weeks in preparation of handing the reins over during my absence and she didn't miss a single beat! In many ways she enhanced our community even more. Her ability and strength gave me the ability to focus on healing without the stress of worrying about all whom I dearly love at Cottonwood Villa.

A long awaited welcome back to our director at Cottonwood Villa, Ann Fiala ❤️
She has been away from us on a long healing journey that lasted 9 weeks.
If you want to know what type of director Ann is here it is: She is a woman who got back to work a couple days after an extensive surgery(work away from home). The dedication and time she puts into the staff and residents is admirable. Not being home for a full 24 hours before she was right back at Cottonwood not only shows strength but the love she has here. She was always there to answer a phone call or text with positive/encouraging words. We couldn’t be more grateful to have her back here safe and recovered❤️
We want to give a huge thank you to Renee for stepping up into Ann’s department and taking care of things during her time away. She was/is incredible and did above and beyond. ❤️
“A good director is like a good coach. You want to play for him, you want to really show him your good stuff, you don’t want to let that person down.” I think all of the employees at Cottonwood can agree ❤️
