Cottonwood Villa provides assisted living services for a great life. We are located in Ainsworth – a thriving, rural community in north central Nebraska. Cottonwood Villa, a bustling community within a friendly town, offers a full range of health services and social activities all year round.

As a licensed assisted living community, our mission is to provide excellent service and personal attention to each individual. Our circle of care includes service to those who are with us for a short stay of recuperation and to those who are residents in our community. Our trained, licensed and caring staff is a collaborative team which strives to ensure that each client of Cottonwood Villa maintains optimal independence through personalized assistance and care, enveloped within an assurance of comfort, dignity and security.
Our Facilities
Our community offers 29 apartments with various floor plans, a beautifully decorated great room, dining room, spa, beauty shop, patio and activities areas — all with the ambiance of homelike atmosphere.

We had such a lovely afternoon visiting the beautiful Coleman House. Our residents truly enjoyed the opportunity to step into a space filled with history, while sharing tea, coffee, and delicious treats thoughtfully prepared by such wonderful hosts.
Hearing the stories and memories sparked by the home and its artifacts made the experience even more meaningful. It was a special day of connection, conversation, and appreciation for the past.

2/17/26 Hearts Across America Update! ♥️🇺🇸
Just like our carnations, we have been showered with an incredible outpouring of Valentine’s cards! From families, friends, and fellow facilities across the nation, your kindness has truly touched our hearts. Our residents absolutely love reading each and every one!
We have received over 100 Valentine’s cards from 40 states!
Only 10 more states to go to reach our goal by the end of the month! We are still hoping to receive cards from: Nevada, Hawaii, New Mexico, Louisiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Delaware, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

This Valentine’s Day was truly beyond anything we could have imagined. Our goal was simple — just one carnation for each resident. But the outpouring of kindness far exceeded that dream.
More than 800 carnations were lovingly shared among our 30 residents. Each carnation is a sweet reminder that they are seen, appreciated, and surrounded by caring hearts in our community.
